Regulated goods guide

Shipping batteries, liquids, and other regulated products from China

Batteries and liquids can often be shipped only on approved routes with specific packaging, documentation, and quantity limits. We review each item against carrier rules and destination law before accepting the request; a product being listed for sale in China does not guarantee export or import eligibility.

01

Products that commonly need review

  • Lithium-ion and lithium-metal batteries
  • Power banks and battery-containing devices
  • Perfume, fragrance, and essential oils
  • Alcohol-based or flammable liquids
  • Aerosols, magnets, powders, and pressurized items
02

Why these items are treated differently

Carriers classify certain batteries and liquids as dangerous goods. Their acceptable routes, packaging, labeling, quantity limits, and destination rules can be stricter than for ordinary consumer parcels, so the item must be reviewed before the domestic order is placed.

03

What information speeds up review

  • Battery type, chemistry, watt-hour rating, and whether it is installed or loose
  • Liquid volume, ingredients, and whether it is flammable
  • Manufacturer safety or product information where available
  • Quantity and intended use
  • Destination country and postal code
04

Limits and restrictions

Some regulated products may require special packaging, documentation, or a route we cannot currently offer. Others may be refused by the carrier or destination even if they are legal to sell in China. The final decision follows the actual product and destination.

05

Decision criteria before you buy

  • Whether the item is built-in, removable, or shipped separately
  • Whether the product has clear manufacturer safety information
  • Whether the quantity is within practical parcel limits
  • Whether the destination accepts the category
  • Whether an alternative item would be safer and still meet your need
FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Can you ship a power bank internationally?

It depends on the power bank's battery type, watt-hour rating, packaging, destination, and available carrier route. We review the specific item before confirming whether a request can move forward.

Can perfume be shipped from China?

Perfume and flammable liquids are regulated and may need approved packaging and a suitable route. A product being available for domestic sale does not guarantee international shipping eligibility.

What should I send for a battery item?

Include the product link, battery type, watt-hour rating if shown, whether the battery is installed or separate, quantity, and destination. Clear photos of the label can help.

Will a battery always require special handling?

Many batteries do, but the exact treatment depends on chemistry, size, installation, quantity, and route. We review the item before quoting a final shipping path.
